So good I actually kept it a secret from yelp until now (I moved away). Deedee is the best. Book her 6 weeks in advanced and fall in love. Tell her I say hi. The best! No one will ever come close to how good she is.

Dee Dee and Skin Prophecy has been a godsend to our family and our skin for years! Her skin products are extraordinary (best face serums/washes and lip balm ever!) and her retail shop always has something classy and/or cozy and compelling to procure. Dee Dee takes great care of you in every stage of the process, whatever treatment- explaining the natural essence of her products, spoiling you with warm hand mittens and lotions, scalp massages and personalizing any treatment your skin needs. I've lived up in San Francisco with hundreds of facialist/spas and Skin Prophecy is where I look forward to visiting every time I"m back home in Santa Barbara! I have only received facials from Dee Dee, but have heard great things about the other estheticians at Skin Prophecy also. Treat yourself to a visit and you won't be disappointed!

I came to Skin Prophecy when I was experiencing my first long-lasting battle with cystic acne (at age 25...the worst!) and had tried everything I could find online. Esthetician Becky is a dream! At my initial intake, I brought in all my make up and products and she read over all the ingredients. They take a holistic approach, which I love bc so many lifestyle choices, products and things like food habits or hair products touching your face can all affect your skin. Becky was SO thorough and always gave samples for me to try their products. She never pressured me to buy anything but I did because their products are amazing (I use their face wash and moisturizer). Becky also helped me select new make up. Lastly, get a facial with Becky! It's SO relaxing, affordable and makes a huge difference. The whole experience has been so positive for me. They're about lasting changes, not quick fixes and I'm happy to say my cystic acne is gone and has been for a couple months now! I only wish I had before and after photos to share. Highly recommend.

I come to Skin Prophecy almost weekly to see their Esthetician Katie, she is amazing and truly understands skin and how to treat your problems. My skin has improved tremendously since I've been seeing her. I have also switch to SP's skin care line created by the owner Dee Dee, it's all natural and chemical free and I am obsessed!

Dee Dee is amazing! My she and her products have been so important in helping with my teen's face. Dee Dee is great at not only the work she does but the way she educates- She really does care and takes the time to explain what's going on and how to care for your skin at home. The products are not cheap but I have to say, they actually work. I highly recommend!!!

I came in from out of town and needed a quick last minute wax. This place was more then accommodating and she was super super sweet! I will defiantly return on my next venture to the area. Super friendly, fast, and customer service is 5 stars!

I have been coming to Skin Prophecy for over a decade. Dee Dee's products are EXCELLENT. Her treatments are unparalled and I continue to get comments on my glowing skin. Genetics only get you so far, Dee Dee will get you the rest of the way.

I love going to Katie Gates for my skin care needs. She is so knowledgeable when it comes to anything skin. She gives the best recommendations to keep your skin healthy and clear of any mishaps. The microdermabrasion is my all time favorite! Best of all the machine they have is SO HIGH END that is doesn't hurt one bit. The skin care products they sell there are top grade. My favorite product... Drench Moisturizer

The Skin Prophecy team is wonderful - all are so sweet. I had my facial with Katie and she was the best - best facial in town! She's extremely informed, great at explaining, uses organic products that really work, and really gets you to relax. Overall the experience was 10/10. I'd recommend to anyone, first time or regular, to go visit her - you're going to find a new regular facial location!

Skin Prophecy's Aesthetician, Katie, is amazing! I started seeing her when I was pregnant with my first baby, and she helped keep my crazy hormonal skin in check using high quality, all natural products that were safe for my unique situation. When I have a little "me" time away from my son, I love going in for a relaxing facial and my skin always feels bright, clean and healthy when I leave. Whatever your skin care needs are, Katie is the gal to see! Give her a try, and you definitely wont be disappointed!

I see Katie at Skin Prophecy and I couldn't recommend her enough. She's the best in the biz. She knows everything about skin and customizes each visit for my current needs. I absolutely trust her recommendations and have seen huge improvements since I started seeing her last year. The products are also great but I love that Katie is in my best interest and realistic about what I actually need to buy/be using. She truly care about her clients and loves her work.
